The future of Ewa Beach real estate looks bright! The Fort Weaver Road widening project is just about complete, and a constant stream of new homes are being released every month. Many more affordable developments of new Ewa Beach homes for sale are in the works.
There is still a small presence of "old" Ewa Beach today in the form of a few small communitites full of historic plantation homes. However, in the past decade developers have made their footprint on these lands producing neighborhoods seemingly overnight.
Developers Gentry Homes and Haseko account for most of the new homes already established or being built in Ewa. A few of Gentry's more popular developments are Woodbridge, Tuscany, and Cypress Point. Haseko, the second largest developer of Ewa Beach real estate, has concertrated all it's efforts on it's main 1,100 acre master planned community of Ocean Pointe, which will be the largest and most prestigious piece of Ewa real estate when completed.
The centerpiece of Ocean Pointe will be the development of the Hoakalei Resort. Included in this massive project is a marina, hotel, commercial complex, and many types of homes for sale.
Hoakalei Marina is expected to be a 700 boat harbor, easily making it the biggest in the state.
The golf course, which is designed by Ernie Els, is the centerpiece of the future Hoakalei Country Club, the only resort-based country club on Oahu. This golf course is the first built in the last decade on the island, so Ernie has high expectaions. One of his visions is to be able to hold a PGA Tour event. Currently, there are many new homes and townhomes for sale with this gorgeous golf course frontage.
The newest planned addition to Ewa Beach real estate is Hoopili. Construction for this development is scheduled to start sometime in 2012. Hoopili's massive community will have 12,000 new Ewa homes for sale with a projected build-out of about two decades. There is lots of talk and debate about Hoopili and very careful planning is in place. Being a large part of the new vision of Ewa and Kapolei real estate, the community boasts it will have a huge contribution to the projected 40,000 new jobs in the area over the next twenty years!
